Norbert wins health & beauty contract

Norbert Dentressangle has won a contract to handle UK warehousing and distribution for Cosmeticus H&B, an importer and distributor of beauty, health and hygiene products.

As part of the deal, Norbert Dentressangle Logistics UK will receive containerised product into its 100,000 sq ft warehouse at Dunstable where it will be palletised and stored prior to onward delivery into the retailers’ distribution networks.

Cosmeticus H&B director Roberta Harris, said: “In addition to the ongoing development of our ranges to offer innovative, competitive new products, we needed a robust yet responsive distribution infrastructure to provide our retail and wholesale customers with the optimum balance of accuracy, availability and cost.

“Norbert Dentressangle has both the resource and the expertise to ensure that our supply chain can continue meet the high expectations of our major retail customers.”

Borehamwood-based Cosmeticus H&B supplies own-label patient, baby, travel and facial wipes to major retailers and wholesalers including Superdrug and Robinson Healthcare. The company also supplies natural oil product, Micromed, to more than 700 Boots stores throughout the UK.
