Containerships picks P&O Ferrymasters

Containerships of Finland has appointed P&O Ferrymasters as its sales and booking agent for Italian business transiting via the port of Rotterdam.

Containerships link northern Italy via Rotterdam with Helsinki, St Petersburg and the Baltic states through container rail shuttles P&O Ferrymasters are using between Milan, Novara, Rome and Rotterdam.

Sigurjon Markusson, chief executive of Containerships, said: “P&O Ferrymasters has established itself as a leading player through its railway container services between Italy and Western Europe and we look forward to a mutually beneficial commercial partnership.”
