Geodis boosts parcel offering with acquisition

Geodis has acquired French small parcel express delivery company Ciblex, in a bid to reinforce its position in the parcel sector.

The company plans to develop expertise specific to parcel processing, relying on an independent network of more than 700 service providers, improve value-added services and complete the Geodis transport network in Benelux.

Ciblex has 18 depots in France, two in Belgium, one in the Netherlands and 90 connected warehouses, and employs 700 staff.
