Maersk completes first run for ocean 'conveyor belt'

Maersk has completed the first operation of its Daily Maersk “ocean liner conveyor belt” which links Asia and Northern Europe.

The shipping line said it had shown that service could provide “absolute reliability” with the first Daily Maersk cargo being on time in all three European ports being serviced, Felixstowe, Rotterdam and Bremerhaven.

Daily Maersk offers a daily service between four ports in Asia (Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian and Tanjung Pelepas) and three ports in Europe (Felixstowe, Rotterdam.
