Dachser ends co-operation with Future Group

Dachser is set to take over the management of the marketing of its worldwide airfreight services as part of its expansion strategy and terminate its co-operation with the Future Group.

Dachser has been a member of the airfreight joint venture Future for the past 12 years, however Thomas Reuter, managing director of Dachser Air & Sea Logistics, said: “Changing market conditions and our own evolution have made this split a step Dachser has to take.”

“Despite a decline in business due to the economic and financial crisis, the demand for international logistics supply chains is growing,” continued Reuter. “We are responding to our customers’ requirements by optimizing and further expanding our network structures.”
