BDP buys Euromodal SA

US based logistics company BDP International has acquired the Spanish company Euromodal SA.

It will now operate as Euromodal BDP International under director Jose Angel Martinez Jr. "Becoming a full member of the BDP family gives us even greater leverage in competing more effectively for our customers in the global economy," he said.

Euromodal was established in 1991 and is based in Madrid with offices in Barcelona and Valencia. It provides multi-modal transport and logistics services to a network of affiliates worldwide.

BDP Chief operating officer, John M. Bolte said: “We recognised that we needed to solidify our presence in Spain to better support our customers' expanding trade lane activity in the western Mediterranean… We will continue to collaborate closely with the talented, professional staff of Euromodal to reinforce its seamless service and strong client relationships."
