How to enter?

Entry into the awards is free. Simply register and download an entry form at www.supplychainexcellenceawards.com

The entry deadline is Monday 16th June 2008.

Judging

Stage 1 - The judging panel will meet to determine whether your company qualifies for stage 2.

Stage 2 - If your company is successful you will be asked to complete the next part of the entry form. This will require detailed company information (Please note all information received is kept strictly confidential).

Stage 3 - After receiving the second completed entry form, we will contact you to arrange a face to face meeting.

The Awards Night

The winners will be announced at the Awards night on 28th October 2008 at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London, W1 - Dinner and entertainment by a renowned personality at one of London''s top hotels.

The evening will begin with a champagne reception, followed by a three course dinner after which the awards ceremony will commence.

Shining the Spotlight on Supply Chain Excellence

PRTM is delighted to once again partner with Supply Chain Standard for the 2008 European Supply Chain Excellence Awards.

Over the last two years, we have been delighted to see the continued development of the awards to become what is now generally recognised as the premier European supply chain award.

Since our founding in 1976, PRTM has shone the spotlight on operations—the component of the business world that often goes unheralded. In a series of executive seminars we conducted in the mid-1980s on behalf of the then-fledgling American Electronics Association, we talked about a cross-functional set of integrated processes that we called supply chain management. By the mid-1990s, PRTM had led the development of the Supply-Chain Operations Reference-model (SCOR®), now widely adopted by the industry. Since then, we have worked on supply chain projects at more than 600 organisations across a broad spectrum of industries. We have helped some of the world''s leading companies turn their supply chains into sources of competitive advantage, with shorter lead times, higher levels of customer service, and lower costs.

During this time, PRTM has compiled what is generally acknowledged to be the most comprehensive and leading database of supply chain benchmark information available today.
