Gieves and Hawkes, the Savile Row tailor, is investing in its supply chain to grow its online sales with the implementation of a retail system from K3 Retail.

The warehouse project has implemented hand held terminals that has enabled Gieves and Hawkes to streamline receipt and despatch processes and improve stock accuracy. The warehouse project has enabled the business to consolidate its warehouse facilities and significantly reduce overheads.

Gieves and Hawkes initially selected K3 Retail to integrate its finance systems and store sales with the rest of its business, and is now building its multi-channel offering.

Will Dresner, financial director at Gieves and Hawkes, said:  “We started working with K3 Retail in 2009, bringing them onboard to support the implementation of our Microsoft retail system, and they immediately identified areas where the system could be used more effectively. Since then, K3 Retail have supported us with a number of other projects
