Airbus extends K+N partnership

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has strengthened its relationship with Kuehne+Nagel after signing a six year contract with the logistics provider to manage its regional logistics hubs in France, Germany, Spain and the UK.

Kuehne+Nagel has handled the company’s logistics operations since 2003. The continued partnership will see it entering into the French and UK aerospace and aviation logistics markets for the first time.

By 2010 Airbus plans to consolidate all its local warehouses into six regional hubs with Kuehne+Nagel running a pan-European network of logistics centres in France, Germany, Spain and the UK, encompassing more than 1,615 sq ft of warehousing space.
