PwC appoints UK head of transport and logistics

PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed Coolin Desai UK head of its transport and logistics arm, responsible for leading and co-ordinating PwC's services to the industry.

Desai has some 15 years’ experience in the sector, is also partner in the firm’s Corporate Finance practice with experience of transactions in the Business Services. He has advised public and private companies, private equity and public sector organisations on transactions.

Desai said: “It is an exciting time to be at the helm of UK transport and logistics for PwC. There are likely to be many factors impacting the industry over the next few years and I am looking forward to helping our clients address the challenges presented, by bringing together innovation and experience from across PwC.”
